7. RECTUM
Last but not definitely least!
When the descending colon becomes full of stool or feces, it empties its contents
into the rectum to begin the process of elimination. Although the rectum is a
small organ, it is a very important one with a critical function. Imagine if the
rectum was not working, your life would become miserable very quickly.
